What information is required to create a case?

These fields are required in order to save a case.

  • Case Name (Subject)
  • Type
  • Status
  • Security Group

If these fields are not selected, you may get an error when trying to save the case.

If you don't want to reselect these each time you create a case, you can save default selections in your profile.
